My name is Amalia Sardinha and I am from Long Island, New York. I am currently a junior at the Hotchkiss School where I am on the board of our bi-weekly television show, HTV. This past summer, I interned at a woman-owned jewelry company near me, which sparked my interest in business. My other interests include research, fashion, and the guitar.
The Girls Who Start Summer Writing Workshop
is a weekly class aimed at developing research and writing skills in young girls curious about women in business. Students will acquire newfound writing skills used to produce a final article, and will have gained insight and inspiration on women in business. Selected student articles will be featured in the Girls Who Start Publication, with the top article being showcased on the front of the Girls Who Start website. Check out the 2023 recap below!
